Privet! Welcome to one of the newest chapters – the Russia chapter - of Australian Business in Europe.

Australian business interests in Russia are both diverse and growing. Government to government ties are invigorated – and regular high level contact is occurring. Our Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation is actively at work. The Australian Embassy is engaged on a range of trade policy issues designed to improve Australia’s market access to Russia.

People-to-people ties are a key element to success in the Russian business environment. ABIE Russia presents a platform for Australian and Russian business representatives to take advantage of the increasing bilateral momentum, to develop networks, and to strengthen people-to-people relations.

I encourage you to make the most of opportunities presented by ABIE Russia and the broader ABIE network. And I look forward to meeting you at a future ABIE function.
